Higher education workers across Kentucky have been organizing with United Campus Workers for 6 years. That means 6 years of fighting on campus and in Frankfort for higher education as a common good, not a commodity.
We’ve grown from a single chapter at the University of Kentucky fighting around COVID safety demands and the “Fight for $15” to become Kentucky’s statewide higher education union, with campus workers organizing around some of the most pressing issues like free speech on campus and good public sector jobs.
As a higher education labor union, we have always been a worker-run and -funded organization. To keep our union run for and by our members, we need the continued support of workers like you to sustain our union.
If you believe it’s important for higher education workers to have their own organization to fight for their needs, renew your membership today and get involved in your campus chapter.
